Costa Rica Refrigeracion Omega was founded in Piedades, when the entrepreuners Vicente and Humberto Alpizar decided to make up a company committed to the refrigeration equipment manufacture. Initially, qualified operators in this area worked together with the owners and they all took charge of the planning, design and equipment production.

In 1993, they enlarged the manufactured equipment stock, incorporating two new products Cooking equipment and stainless steel furniture. The very same ones are greatly accepted in our national market. On top of that we complemented the offer of articles related to feeding industry.From the very beginning the company was concerned to enforce policies to fulfill the best way those necessities and expectations from the customers, paying special attention to select the raw material used for equipment manufacture and even customer service after selling the product.

In 1998, the owners of the company decided to create a commercial establishment to sell their product directly, giving specialized technical support to customers.That is how International Omega, Assets and Services Inc. was born, which is an enterprise mainly dedicated to the distribution of Omega brand equipment.

Also it commercializes lines of imported products such as finished equipment as well as their parts and they count on a wide spare stock for the refrigeration area as well as cooking areas.

Currently, Omega Refrigeration Inc.. is a leading enterprise in the Costa Rican market, as far as refrigeration and cooking equipments are concerned, as a result of years of experience in this field and constant innovation, which allows it to adjust all  customers` requirements. For this the company counts on a highly qualified staff and necessary machinery to turn ideas into equipment.

The company also worries about it affect negatively the environment, so they stopped using refrigerants which components damage the ozone layer and have replaced them for CFCs free gases.
